We are now hiring a Graphic designer & Video editor with a strong eye for visuals, motion, and storytelling, and who understands how design and video drive engagement on social media.
Position: Graphic designer & Video editor
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer & Video Editor with strong video editing and motion graphics skills to join our fully remote team.
This role is ideal for a designer who excels at brand aesthetics, typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling, and who can extend those strengths into motion design, animated elements, and polished video edits.
You will be responsible for designing graphics and editing videos for multiple client brands, ensuring all visual content is engaging, cohesive, and optimized for social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Motion
Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from raw footage to final delivery
Edit long-form client videos for YouTube
Apply clean cuts, pacing, transitions, captions, sound effects, and motion elements
Ensure videos are visually engaging, well-timed, and optimized for each platform
Adapt video formats, aspect ratios, and durations based on platform requirements
Graphic Design & Visual Assets
Design high-quality graphics and layouts for social media and digital platforms
Create supporting visual assets such as thumbnails, cover designs, and templates
Apply strong typography, color usage, and layout principles across all designs
Design simple graphics and layouts using Canva or similar design tools
Brand Consistency & Visual Direction
Follow brand guidelines closely to ensure visual consistency
Maintain a cohesive visual style across all content for each client brand
Translate creative briefs and concepts into on-brand visual executions
Ensure all deliverables align with each brand’s tone, identity, and positioning
Content Execution & Optimization
Implement feedback and revisions accurately and within agreed timelines
Organize and manage video and design files for efficient collaboration
Ensure all content meets quality standards before delivery
Optimize visuals and videos for social media best practices and engagement
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the team to execute creative direction effectively
Stay updated on design trends, video editing techniques, and social media formats
Apply new tools, styles, and techniques where relevant to improve output
Contribute ideas for improving visual quality and content performance
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2–4 years professional experience in graphic design and video editing, or a similar creative role
Proven experience creating and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, VN (VlogNow), or similar software
Working knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, captions, and sound design
Solid graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator etc
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout design
Ability to translate creative briefs and brand guidelines into clean, consistent visual content
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and timing for video content
Familiarity with social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform best practices
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, high-quality work
Ability to manage multiple design and video projects simultaneously
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to take feedback constructively and implement revisions efficiently
Portfolio required, showcasing both graphic design and video editing work
