Role Summary
The Strategic Marketing Manager leads strategy, shapes messaging, and ensures campaigns are executed with excellence. This role requires someone who can think critically, write clearly, and manage multiple projects with a high level of organization.
You will develop strategies, write and refine copy, oversee workflows, and support both the team and our clients in reaching their goals.
This role combines strategy, leadership, copywriting, and project management.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership, solve problems, and guide campaigns from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Campaign Development
Build tailored strategies based on each client’s goals and audience
Connect social, content, email, and paid channels into cohesive campaigns
Develop messaging frameworks, content direction, and campaign angles
Set KPIs and performance expectations for every initiative
Ensure brand positioning and messaging remain consistent and intentional
Copywriting and Messaging
Write clear and compelling copy for campaigns, social content, email, and scripts
Translate strategic direction into messaging that resonates
Support the team with hooks, angles, outlines, and messaging guidance
Review and refine copy from other team members
Maintain brand voice and ensure consistency across platforms
Project and Client Management
Oversee timelines, workflows, and deliverables across multiple accounts
Lead weekly performance and strategy meetings
Coordinate with designers, editors, digital marketers, and other team members
Ensure all tasks are completed on time and to standard
Communicate clearly with the internal team to maintain alignment
Performance Tracking and Optimization
Review analytics and provide actionable recommendations
Adjust strategy and messaging based on data and audience behavior
Oversee A/B testing and content optimization
Prepare performance summaries and improvement plans
Team Collaboration and Leadership
Provide guidance and clarity to team members
Maintain accountability, structure, and follow-through
Identify challenges early and implement solutions
Uphold LMM’s standards for quality and execution
Ideal Candidate
Skills and Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in marketing strategy, content strategy, or digital marketing
Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio of effective messaging and campaigns
Experience building and managing multi-channel marketing plans
Strong understanding of funnels, audience behavior, and brand messaging
Ability to manage deadlines, systems, and multiple client accounts
Proficient in analyzing data and adjusting strategy accordingly
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Notion)
